The part a glass scope structurally cannot do
A G1 or G7 ballistic coefficient is a single averaged number. Drag isn’t constant, and past roughly 600–800 m that averaging error compounds — which is where a lot of otherwise good dope starts drifting. The EB-MK ONE radar measures the actual downrange velocity decay of your ammunition, builds the complete Cd(Mach) curve, and hands it to the D2S as one file. The radar generates the truth. The scope applies it.

When digital isn’t the answer
Inside 300 m, unhurried, in stable conditions — or anywhere you want zero electronic dependency — good glass remains completely defensible. It has no boot time and no battery, and it will still be working when the cells aren’t. The case for digital strengthens as distance, environmental variability and time pressure increase. If none of those three are pressing on you, buy glass and spend the difference on ammunition.
